XTBA DMX Cardsets

XTBA’s DMX cards provide a variety of functions to allow the user to build or customise their own projects. All the cards have full 512 address via the PCB mounted BCD switches and on board power supplies so only a transformer and XLR’s are needed. Connections via HE14/Molex connectors except where stated. Cards come with complete instructions but we are always happy to answer any additional questions. In addition we can supply any XTBA product as a card only to fit into your metal work, see price list or POA.

DMX1 Decoder

A one channel DMX to analogue (0 / +10V) converter. The unit has an additional open collector switch which will be turned on if the selected channel level is above 10%. This feature allows the card to be used with fluorescent ballast’s etc. Displays for power/card OK and data. (44mm x 74mm x 23mm clearance height)

DMX1 Relay - New Features!

A one channel DMX to normally open or closed relays. The relay switch level can be user set in 10% steps. The card can be user set for normally open or closed relays. The relays will switch at the set level and switch back at 1% less to allow for noisy desks. Relays rated at 100ma. Displays for power and data in. If the BCD switches are set for 600 the card will enter test mode and allow for local control e.g. 601 = relay one closed/open. (44mm x 74mm x 23mm clearance height)

DMX1 Merge

A one channel analogue ( 0 /+10) to DMX merge. The address of the channel to be merged is set via the BCD switches. With no incoming DMX the card will generate its own DMX and merge the analogue channel. Any number of Merge cards can be used to create multi inputs to a DMX system. DMX8 Decoder

An eight channel DMX to analogue decoder (0/ +10V). Eight analogue channels are available via the HE14/Molex connector. Displays for power/card OK and data in. In addition any or all of the eight outputs can be set as a non dim channel. (100mm x 100mm x 25mm clear ance height).

DMX8 AMR (Analogue , Merge, Replace) 
An eight channel analogue input (0/+10V) or (0/ +5V) converter to DMX512. The eight analogue channels can be set to merge with incoming DMX data (Highest Takes Precedence) or replace channels of DMX. The number of replaced channels can be set from 1 through 8. The card can create its own DMX source if there is no DMX on the input or can be set to only to transmit when receiving. Displays for power/card OK and data in. In addition the card can be set to interface with 0 to 5volts analogue to full, making it ideal for logic or switch interfaces to DMX512.

DMX/DALI -S
A 64 channel (the limit of DALI) DMX to DALI converter. Displays for power/card OK and data in. Three address switches to select the start address of the channels to be converted. The number of DALI channels transmitted can also be set between 1 to 64. DALI is a slow protocol so the fewer transmitted channels the faster the update rate. The card can also be used to set the ballasts address.
